By accessing or using DMV Camera Watch ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Site.
Use of the Site
You may use the Site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Scrape or bulk-download data in a manner that burdens our infrastructure
- Use the Site or its data to harass, stalk, or target individuals
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or circumvent the Site's security measures
- Resell or redistribute camera data commercially without written permission
Personal, non-commercial use of the camera data — including sharing individual camera pages, embedding maps, or citing statistics — is permitted and encouraged.
No Legal Advice
Nothing on this Site constitutes legal advice. Information about fine amounts, citation procedures, and legal rights is provided for general informational purposes only. Laws and enforcement practices change. Consult a licensed attorney for advice specific to your situation.
Data Accuracy Disclaimer
Camera location data, violation statistics, and revenue estimates are derived from public government data sources. We make reasonable efforts to keep this data current and accurate, but we make no warranty — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on the Site.
Camera programs change. Cameras are added, removed, and relocated. Do not rely solely on this Site for real-time enforcement information. Always observe posted speed limits and traffic signals regardless of camera locations shown.
Pro Subscription
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to modify Pro features with reasonable notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact contact@dmvcamerawatch.com.
Intellectual Property
The Site's code, design, editorial content, and original copy are owned by DMV Camera Watch. Underlying government camera data is in the public domain. You may not reproduce our original editorial content without attribution and permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DMV Camera Watch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including reliance on camera location data or enforcement information.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
